Today, we are excited to announce Phase I of Peaceful Futures: Invest in the
Next Generation of Peacebuilders, a campaign to raise $150,000 to advance
our work.
In 2027, we will celebrate 60 years of work and impact. We are launching this
campaign to ensure we can continue to support people and communities for
another 60 years. Our Phase I goal is to raise $45,000 by December 1, 2026.
Achieving this milestone will unlock a $45,000 matching grant from The
Longwood Foundation. If we hit that goal, we will be 60% of our way to our goal
as we begin our 60th anniversary, with only $60,000 left to raise in 2027. Make

This is a unique, one-time campaign to raise funds above and beyond our
annual giving target. These funds will be strategically invested in bolstering our
organizational impact, as described below.
About the Peaceful Futures Campaign
The future of our communities will be shaped by the young people we empower today. At Pacem in Terris, we see that future taking shape every day—in young artists finding their voice, emerging leaders building bridges across differences, volunteers investing their talents, and community partners working together to create a more just, compassionate, and peaceful world.
For nearly 60 years, we have believed that peace begins with relationships. By bringing people together, fostering understanding, and equipping the next generation with the tools to lead, we are creating lasting change that reaches far beyond any single program or event. Today, that work is growing.
More young people are engaging in our programs.
New community partnerships are expanding our reach. Our Arts for Peace and Peace Education initiatives are creating meaningful opportunities for dialogue, creativity, and leadership. We are mentoring emerging leaders, welcoming new interns and volunteers, strengthening our organizational capacity, and preparing for an exciting new chapter as we approach our 60th anniversary. The momentum is real—and so is the opportunity.
