HOW WE WORK FOR PEACE
At Pacem in Terris, we work together with our neighbors to restore and build community one relationship at a time. Our mission is to create connections that foster peace within ourselves and our communities. We empower each other to become leaders who can address everyday impacts of historical Injustices using community listening and healing circles to guide our work.
ARTS FOR PEACE:
We believe that humanity’s creative spirit can imagine a world where peace and justice are the everyday reality. And that we can envision that world through artistic expression–especially through the art of young people.
RESTORATIVE JUSTICE:
We believe there are no disposable people and that we’re all better than the worst thing we’ve ever done.
PEACE & JUSTICE EDUCATION:
We believe education builds relationships, resolves conflicts and strengthens our communities.
