Still time to register. Study nonviolence with Nonviolent Wilmington.

There are still a few days to register for “Engaging Nonviolence” winter session. Starts next week.

(Already registered? We’ll be in touch soon with your workshop assignment and how to obtain the workbook. Note that we have postponed the Part II workshop until March.)

Although it would be great to meet in person, holding the workshops online has clearly increased the number of folks we are reaching. So we think we’ll be continuing distance learning for some time to come. 

Starting January 17, we will offer two online workshops for first-time and ongoing students of “Engaging Nonviolence.”

Participants are encouraged to complete each part in order to move to the next section.

Part I – Exploring Nonviolent Power*
Six weekly 2-hour sessions—
our introductory workshop.
Sundays or Wednesdays, 4:00 – 6:00 pm
Starts Jan. 17 or 20 — Ends Feb. 21 or 24

Part II – Nonviolence in Practice
Five weekly 2-hour sessions
Not currently offered. Will return in March

Part III – Planning and Strategy
Four weekly 2-hour sessions
Sundays, time to be determined by participants
Jan. 17, 24, 31; Feb. 7

Part III will be culminate in a creative nonviolent action project designed by participants and coordinated by Nonviolent Wilmington, which may extend beyond the conclusion of the workshop. Participation in this project is optional for Part III workshop participants.
